In the spirit of being human, everyone is entitled to humanity and the virtues that surround humanity. The root of human rights and humanity traces back to earlier traditions as well as documentations that encroached from multiple cultures. Learn more about Jim Larkin and Michael Lacey:

In addition to this, there was the World War II which propelled the development of human rights. Being the primary catalyst, Word War II may have been a blessing to the less privileged who face discrimination in the society. It played a pivotal role in contributing to the development of human rights.

Human Rights is Born

Throughout history, most societies acquired these rights based on groups, membership, families, nations as well as religion. In addition, the societies adopted similar traditions that encompassed a golden rule for treating human beings. Consistently preaching that you should treat your peers as you would like to be treated, there was a lot of progress. Read more: Michael Lacey | Facebook and Village Voice Media | Wikipedia

The Bible and Quran served as major reference points for the implementation of these rights and fair treatment. In fact, five sources regarding the same rights were printed to address the facilitation of human rights. That marked the birth of the United Nations.

 The United Nations

From oral to written agreements, human rights brought forth the birth of United Nations, a network of organizations that worked together to implement human rights by reaching out to masses across the world.

The United Nations has since then been responsible for speaking for the less fortunate in the society. With the extermination of more than six million Jews, the United Nations acted as the bridge between humanity and the suffering.

The torturers of homosexuals as well as disabled were tried by international legal systems. Punished for crimes against humanity, there came a group of organizations that fought for the same great cause. Aside from the United Nations, there are two more organizations that fight for humanity by all means:

Michael Lacey and Jim Larkin: Informing the Public about the First Amendment

Joe Arpaio is the former sheriff of Maricopa County, serving from 1992 to 2016. He was considered as the toughest sheriff in America during his term as the county sheriff, and he introduced harsh punishments for illegal migrants. One of the punishments that he created was the tent city, a broad settlement near his home where captured illegal migrants are sent. They are exposed to harsh sunlight and cold nights, and they are subjected to extreme labor before being deported back to their home countries. A lot of people suffered inside the tent city, and some have even died. People have accused Joe Arpaio of crimes related to these abuses, but he manages to get away with it. He was arrested once because of contempt, and he was sent to jail for pleading his guilt. However, he stated that President Donald Trump would pardon him anyway, so it is ok for him to stay inside the prison for a short time. Joe Arpaio was right, as the current president pardoned him. After getting out of the prison, he stated that he would be running for the Senate.

Michael Lacey and Jim Larkin are considered as the arch-enemy of Joe Arpaio. The two migrants’ rights activists have published a new website, naming it as the Front Page Confidential. They dedicated the website to the migrant communities across the country, and they stated that news stories about the migrants and other helpful features could be found on the website. They are using the Frontera Fund to sustain the webpage, which in turn, was awarded to them after they filed a counter lawsuit against Joe Arpaio in 2007. Michael Lacey and Jim Larkin are also informing the migrants about the First Amendment on their new website so that they will be aware of their rights.
