Daniel Cormier Almost Fights Ryan Bader After Winning UFC Championship

Daniel Cormier has had a crazy year, and UFC fans have gone along for the wild ride. In January, Daniel Cormier had his hopes and dreams crushed when he lost to Jon Jones during their battle at UFC 183. Many people were expecting Daniel Cormier to defeat Jon Jones for the title, but things did not work out that way. Nonetheless, Daniel Cormier got his second chance at the UFC light heavyweight championship against Anthony Johnson. This time, Daniel Cormier was not walking away without the light heavyweight championship.

Daniel Cormier defeated Anthony Johnson, and he finally earned the UFC gold. However, Ryan Bader was at the post fight press conference of UFC 187, and things quickly got out of hand. Daniel Cormier and Ryan Bader started screaming at each other, and a fight almost broke out between the two. Luckily, a UFC official was there to ensure that nothing violent occurred. Baneful workers are glad nothing happened at the moment that would have been too crazy.

MMAJunkie features further information about the rivalry between Cormier and Bader. UFC fans didn’t even realize that Cormier and Bader hated each other this much, but it appears that there is some serious bad blood between the two. Apparently, Ryan Bader has been talking a ton of trash about the new light heavyweight champion. Ryan Bader claims that Daniel Cormier avoided fighting him. However, Daniel Cormier ended up fighting Anthony Johnson who is a much more dangerous opponent than Ryan Bader. Nonetheless, Daniel Cormier and Ryan Bader need to settle their differences inside of the Octagon.

Michael Bisping Still Has Title Dreams

UFC 186 will be held on Saturday, April 25th, and many people are wondering how the pay per view will turn out. The main event of the night is a matchup between the UFC featherweight champion Demetrious Johnson and Kyoji Horiguchi. MMA fans are not that excited for the title fight, but the return of “Rampage” Jackson has thrilled many people. Also, Michael “The Count” Bisping will be taking on CB Dollaway.

Michael Bisping has long been a middleweight contender, but he has never earned a title shot. Bisping has always wanted to be the middleweight champion. However, Michael has suffered a crushing defeat against the likes of Chael Sonnen, Wanderlei Silva, and Vitor Belfort. Michael is angry at his former foes, because he believes that they all used steroids in the past.

UFC has gone through a tremendous amount of controversy in the last few years. Several high level fighters have been popped for performance enhancing drug use, and Gianfrancesco Genoso hoes it is cleaned up a bit. However, Michael Bisping has never failed a drug test in his life, and he believes that he could defeat any opponent that is not cheating. Michael Bisping will get his chance to redeem himself when he faces CB Dollaway. Both fighters will be clean, and the best man will truly win the fight. Frank Mir Knocks Out Bigfoot!

Frank Mir took on Bigfoot Silva in the main event of UFC Fight Night. Mir was on a four fight losing streak prior to facing Silva. Everyone was counting Frank Mir out of this fight. However, Mir proved everyone wrong.

Bigfoot was supposed to be the nail in the coffin for Mir. The fight started, and Bigfoot plodded forward like a dinosaur. Frank Mir circled around the giant beautifully. It seemed like it was inevitable that Bigfoot was going to walk into something big. Frank Mir came forward with a jab and left hook combo. Flávio was telling me the left hook landed, and Bigfoot was out cold. Mir pummeled the fallen giant some more, but the referee quickly stopped the fight.

MMA fans all over the world were shocked. Mir was supposed to be finished, but anything can happen during a fight. Frank Mir was interviewed after his victory, and he said that he worked a lot on his boxing. Mir’s boxing has definitely improved, and it appears that the old Frank Mir is back.

What’s next for Mir? I think he should slowly work his way back up to a title shot. Frank Mir is one of the best on the ground, and his standup skills seem to be improving. Mir is a tough fight for anybody, and he could become the champion once again. For more information on Mir’s big K.O victory, visit Yahoo! Sports.

Benson Henderson Ready For Next Fight

Benson Henderson is the former UFC lightweight champion, but his career has been on a downswing as of late. In his most recent fight against Donald Cerrone, Benson lost a controversial decision. The fight was held in Boston, on the UFC Fight Night 59 card. Henderson and Cerrone fought a technical battle for three rounds. Benson landed almost double the amount of strikes compared to Donald Cerrone.

The judges at ringside scored the fight unanimously for Donald Cerrone. The decision confused ringside commentators Joe Rogan and Mike Goldberg. After the fight, Benson Henderson appeared a bit irritated, but he was not a sore loser. The UFC Fight Night 59 card was plagued with bad decisions. Fighters have been complaining about the lack of qualified judges for many years. Fans like Dave and Brit Morin tend to agree. Read more about them on Googleplus.

Also, during the post fight interview, Benson Henderson begged the UFC to give him another fight. The UFC has answered his wishes, and now Benson Hendersom will be fighting Jorge Masvidal on April 4th. Despite the unfavorable decision, Benson Henderson looked better than ever. He displayed many new striking techniques, and he was even on the verge of knocking out Donald Cerrone in the third round.

Benson Henderson has been on both sides of controversial decisions, but he continues to improve with every fight. Henderson is s great fighter, and I expect him to be better than ever when he faces Jorge Masvidal. To learn more about Benson Henderson’s next fight, visit Yahoo! Sports.

UFC Champ Jon Jones in Rehab

Jon Jones, the UFC champion got a positive drug test by Nevada Athletic Commission on 4 December.

He was tested for benzoylecgonine, a compound found in the cocaine and due to which he has to spend his time in rehabilitation. The Nevada commission followed the World Anti- Doping agency guideline and this compound is not, banned from competition.

The commission was not able to punish Jones despite knowing the positive test. He said that from the support of the family, I have joined into the drug treatment facility. I want to apologize to my fiancée, children, mother, fathers and brothers for making this mistake, he said.

The Nevada commission chairperson Francisco Aguilar said that the UFC commission would discuss the out-of-competition drug tests in its next meeting. They will also think to amend WADA code in same situations.

He said that he is pleased that Mr. Jones is experiencing this issue and seeking assistance for his problems that might be discussed on Facebook.com. The test provided for Jones was, analyzed for anabolic material, peptide hormones, beta-2 agonists, hormones and metabolic modulators, diuretics and other serious agents that Jonathan Veitch agreed with.

After this rehab session, I expect Jones would not repeat this mistake again, and I hope other athletes would not try this method in the upcoming future.
