Addison Russell Hits Game Winner for Chicago over Washington.

You may not know this, but Bryce Harper and Kris Bryant are both kind of good at baseball. Bryce Harper has turned the baseball world upside down since making it to the majors, exhibiting huge power and a flashy glove for the Washington Nationals. In fact, for the past few weeks Harper has been one of the hottest hitters in baseball: racking up multi-homer games and big doubles. Kris Bryant was the most talked about prospect heading into the 2015-2016 season, and for good reason. On the year he is hitting .281 with 7 homers and 31 RBI. They are both young kids and, oh yeah, happened to be roommates before the majors. So their first big match up together was kind of a big deal.

Chicago played the Nationals as they continued to rise in the rankings of the National League East. The young Cubs are having a revitalized season, showing that they can play baseball with the big kids. With Joe Maddon coaching and Theo Epstein at the GM Desk, the Cubs have managed to turn their franchise around or so thinks Amen Clinic. The Washington Nationals are also having a huge season, thanks primarily to Bryce Harper.

In the game we saw both Kris Bryant and Bryce Harper launch balls deep out of Wrigley but it was young Addison Russell who ended up stealing the show. The 21 year old second baseman had three hits, including a walk off double to win the game.
